So a few years back, a video was being circulated around the internet that some of you may remember seeing. If you want to see the original "Numa Numa song" you can see it here:

Shortly after Bubba saw that movie, he decided to recreate it and this is the final result...enjoy! I can't even watch this movie without crying from laughing so hard....I only hope he doesn't get too upset that I am posting this for the whole world (and everyone he knows) to appreciate! (The reason I am posting this now is because I heard this song at the gym this morning and I remembered that I even had this video).

Superhero Bubba!
Bubba's cousin's little boy, Thomas just turned 5 and had a Spiderman themed party....and guess who came to the party? Yep, Spiderman himself! Ok, so it was just Bubba dressed up like Spiderman but the kids never even guessed and they all had a good time, even Bubba! Of course, the only kids that were scared of him were ours, but Savannah eventually warmed up a little bit and Paris was terrified until he finally left. Yep, Daddy is a good sport! (Actually, I think he really liked the muscles!)
Lake Powell
Last week we were able to go to Lake Powell for a couple of days with Bubba's work and we had a great time. The kids loved being on the boats and jet skis and just splashing in the water. After 2 days on the lake we were all exhausted and grateful to get home to our own beds and our own rooms (sleeping in a hotel room with 2 kids is always SOOOO fun!), but it was a fun trip! And yes, I had to post the picture of me wakeboarding just to prove that I actually did it (I am not a very coordinated, athletically inclined person, so this is nothing short of a miracle), and yes, it took me several tries to get up and no, I wasn't able to stay up for more than a few seconds, but it was fun and I'm glad I gave it a try. The last picture is of Bubba...and yes, he is much better than I at wakeboarding and can do little tricks and stuff but I am used to him being better than me at pretty much everything like that!
First Big Owie!
So on Labor Day, Paris got her first injury requiring medical attention but we all survived and I'm just glad that it really wasn't that big of a deal. I always knew that of my two kids, she would be the first one to really hurt herself....in fact I would be willing to bet that she will probably end up in the ER at least 5 times before Savannah ever makes it there!
Anyways, we were at the bowling alley with family for Bubba's mom's birthday and somehow her elbow got dislocated. She was whimpering as we were leaving and saying that her arm hurt but she wasn't screaming or anything so I didn't really think anything was wrong. Then we got to Bubba's mom's house and I realized that she wasn't moving her arm at all, and every time we moved her she would start whimpering/crying. After she had sat completely still on my lap for almost 2 hours, I decided I probably needed to go get it checked out even though nothing looked abnormal on her arm. Luckily the InstaCare clinic was open so I didn't actually have to go to the ER and we were the only ones there so we didn't have to wait. As soon as the doctor started moving her arm, Paris just sat there and didn't make a noise so then I began to wonder if it was possible for a 21 month old to fake an injury for 2 hours. But as soon as he tried to rotate her wrist she whimpered and so he determined that it was her elbow instead of her shoulder. He told me he was going to pop it back in and that she would probably be very upset. I heard a pop and Paris made a little noise and then she was totally fine and began moving around like nothing had ever happened. The doctor couldn't believe how brave and tough she was....yep, that's my little Paris!
