The Polar Express!

Last night we took the kids on the Polar Express, a 90 minute train ride up in Heber where you get cookies, hot chocolate and a visit from Santa! It was our first time and while it was fun, I'm not sure that it will become an annual tradition-it'd probably be better if the train went faster than 10 mph (and no, that is not an exaggeration-it really does go 10 mph the whole time). Savannah was so excited to see Santa and has been talking about seeing Santa on the train for weeks now-of course as soon as he got close, she got really shy, but she didn't scream and she got really excited when he gave her a bell. Paris was also pretty shy with Santa, but just buried her face in Daddy's shoulder and peeked out every now and then. Considering that last year when we got close to Santa, both kids had screaming meltdowns, I think we're making progress!

The only picture we got of all 4 of us-not the greatest, but we're all there!

Bubba and Savannah being silly with fishy crackers

Savannah opening her mouth wide for a cracker....I told Bubba we needed a picture of it so we could pretend like she made this face when she Santa!

Just a cute pic of Paris!

How fun! We did that last year, and I'd have to agree with you. We were glad we did it once, but I think that's enough for us. Hope you guys have a Merry Christmas!

cute cute cute. And yes we do have to get together and soon. I feel really isolated out here without my friends close to me. but we are getting to know more and more people in our ward and luckily there are a few young couples. so things are looking up there. love ya

You have such beautiful daughters!

Levi would love that train ride - but even he would say it needed to go faster.
