I can't believe my baby is 7! Savannah is growing up so fast all of the sudden...I feel like she went from being a little toddler to being all grown up into a big kid. She is going to be starting second grade and she is just becoming so independent...fun to watch, but also frightening! Savannah used to be so shy and timid, but now she is brave and confident and willing to try pretty much anything. Even though she is getting older, she is still the most obedient, helpful and good child ever! She hardly ever does anything wrong and if she does, she is quick to fix it and try to make up for whatever happened. She is constantly asking me if she can take Camden and go play with him (of course!) and she is such an awesome big sister to all of her siblings. Even though she is only 7, she is super responsible and is such a wonderful helper to me. Savannah is always creating something...if there is a toy she wants or something that she doesn't have...she just makes it! She has created wings and mermaid tails for her Polly Pocket dolls, she makes houses for all of them, she makes up stories and letters all the time...her creativity astounds me. She uses up a lot of crayons, paper and tape....but honestly, that is all she needs to be entertained for hours. She just figures it all out on her own and she comes to me when she is ready to show me the final product...amazing! We love this little girl so much and can't even remember life without her....hopefully the next year doesn't go by quite so fast!
We had a "beach-themed" birthday party with some of her friends...we all had fun and got wet-mission accomplished!

Soccer
The girls told us that they wanted to play soccer....about a week after the registration for the city league had closed. I saw a bunch of signs around Savannah's school for soccer so I called the number and we were just in time to sign up. We showed up the next week and were somewhat amused and surprised by the fact that out of about 100 kids that were there, ours were the only white ones! The coaches spoke a lot of Spanish, but they were wonderful and the kids had a great time. The group was very non-competitive and they didn't have official games, but for our beginners, that was perfect. They got to play little games against each other and they gained a lot of skills. Savannah was actually a little more interested in it than Paris, but they both had fun. They decided at the end of the season that they don't want to do it again, but I think it was a good learning experience for both of them!

Our little guy is 1!
This year has just flown by and our little man is already 1! I can't even remember what life was like without him and he has just been such a sweet addition to our family. He absolutely loves to snuggle with everyone and is mostly pretty mellow and content to just sit back and watch all the craziness. He has seven teeth and says "mama" and "dada." He weighs in at 22.10 pounds and is 30 inches tall! He cruises around furniture and while pushing toys, but hasn't gotten brave enough to take any steps on his own just yet. He loves to climb things, throw balls, take things apart, and make big messes too! He also loves to eat and will eat pretty much anything, especially any kind of meat! We mostly call him "Cammers" and we love the little guy to pieces! Our poor baby came down with hand, foot, mouth disease yesterday so he is covered with spots on his birthday and is not quite himself but still had a fun day!

New Family Pictures!
We recently decided that it was time for new family pics, since the last ones were taken the day that I found out was pregnant with Camden! We called our friend Jeremy again since he did such a great job last time and he did a fabulous job again. Here's a major picture overload but I've had a super hard time narrowing them down to just a few favorites.
